Commercial & Financial Controls Manager

Duties:

Monitoring suppliers to ensure costs are maintained in line with company forecasts and support the purchasing team in the optimisation and reduction of costs, through strategic financial suggestions.

Support the purchasing and sales team with any commercial/financial agreements and high value costings.

Support the purchasing team in maintaining stock in line with financial and commercial plans.

Reporting to the MD and working across the LCM management team on financial and commercial strategies, generating and maintaining forecasts.

Support and oversee purchase and sales ledger to ensure optimum financial performance and cashflow is maintained in addition to managing the regular monthly payments of suppliers/employees.

Support the companies accountants with year end accountancy/financial needs.

Experience:

Must have a good level of UK based, strategic commercial finance experience within a senior level role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

Must have a strong level of computer literacy on MS Excel and Sage 50 Accounts, with the ability to use complex formulas to manipulate data.

Salary: GBP40 - 47,000 per annum, dependent upon experience
