We are recruiting on behalf of our Goole-based client for a Commercial Analyst to join their busy finance department. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, this role focuses on delivering analytical support to the sales, marketing, and financial departments to enhance decision-making and drive continuous improvement in commercial areas.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Collaborate with Sales for volume forecasting and supply chain support.Contribute to financial budgeting and margin reporting.Generate accurate sales reports with variance explanations.Act as the finance liaison for Sales and Marketing support.Analyse sales promotions and marketing activities.Evaluate new business opportunities for optimal contribution.Review and enhance existing product profitability.Analyse credit note activity for financial insights.Assist in managing and updating price lists.Support initiatives to improve business profitability.Contribute to system development in commercial finance.Aid in ad hoc tasks and statutory reporting.What our client is looking for:
