Funhouse Comedy launches the new season at the Walnut Tree Inn, Blisworth on Thursday January 25th with a night full of fun and laughter.
Topping the bill is Alfie Moore who has appeared on ITV's 'Show Me The Funny' and 'The Wright Stuff'. Following the success of the first series on BBC Radio 4 of 'It's a Fair Cop' in 2014, it is now in its eighth series. A police sergeant, he brings a wealth of insights and comedy moments from his eighteen years on the beat, where a keen sense of humour has been the key to his success and survival! His engaging style enables him to get serious points across whilst still making the audience laugh until they ache.
Opening the night will be comedian, actor and writer Prince Abdi who has supported Reginald D Hunter, Stephen K Amos and Dave Chappelle on their national tours, and has performed alongside Chris Rock and Louis CK. Having moved from Somalia to London as a child, he draws on his migrant background to create a unique style of storytelling and comedy.
Completing the line-up is the uniquely amusing Kent Cameron.
Compere for the night will be the quick-witted and likeable Paul Revill.
