On Weds March 20th Funhouse Comedy will for the first time be bringing its 'Should I Stay or Should I Go?' competition to Ashby. Popular at other Funhouse venues, it's a competition where 10 of the best rising stars on the circuit go head-to-head for a £100 prize, but after they have been on stage, 5 audience judges with red and green cards decide whether they stay or go! If they survive 7 minutes then they make it to the final at the end of the night, where each finalist does another 60 seconds before the whole audience picks a winner.

It's a highly entertaining show. Acts including Josh Pugh and Scott Bennett played their first ever gigs on one of these nights and a previous winner was James Acaster, so you could well be seeing a future superstar.
