Funhouse Comedy Club launches a new season of comedy at The Kings Head Hotel, Cirencester on Friday January 12th. The popular shows, which previously ran on Thursdays will now take place on monthly Fridays.
Topping the bill is the inimitable comedy character act, The Raymond and Mr Timpkins Revue. For years Britain's Got Talent have begged them to go on the show, but they keep declining! One of the absolute funniest and most unique acts you will ever see in a comedy club, incorporating inimitable musical anthems coupled with a plethora of prop-assisted gags, that will have you in tears of laughter.
Opening the night will be the engagingly affable Steve Day, who has been supporting Gary Delaney on tour. Describing himself as Britain's only deaf comedian, his real-life observations are funny, frank and thought-provoking. His unassuming charm and natural wit keep the crowds totally absorbed and wanting for more.
Completing the line-up is award-winning comedian James Ellis a rising star in the UK comedy scene, whose sharp observational humour and clever punchlines have won him rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.
Compere for the night will be Demitris Deech renowned for his ad-libbing he has been support act for several well known comedians such as Alan Carr, Russell Howard, Rhod Gilbert and has appeared on television with Alan Davis.
