Community Integrated Care is a national social care charity which provides care and support to thousands of people across England and Scotland and we are currently recruiting for a Colleague Engagement Specialist to join our Communications team on a full time permanent basis.
You will ideally be based in the NW as you will be required to work from our Widnes Head Office when required (possibly up to 3 days a week) but otherwise you can work from home or a flex between the two.

Day to Day:
We're delighted to introduce this brand-new role to our charity, which presents a real opportunity for the successful candidate to make this position their own and shape its potential and impact.
The role will be pivotal in helping to deliver a consistent employee experience across the charity, creating an engaged, galvanised and valued workforce, passionate about delivering the Best Lives Possible for the people we support. It will also support our workforce to feel a strong sense of empowerment, purpose and appreciation, so that our charity can attract, retain and nurture the best talent in our sector, through a number of initiatives touching all levels of the employee life cycle.
Employee Voice & Listening
Support the delivery of our charity's annual Colleague Engagement Survey - working closely with the Senior Internal Communications & Engagement Manager on the design, launch and execution of the survey Work with leaders throughout the charity to help them understand and interpret their survey results and create impactful action plans Design and deliver other listening activity, as required Day-to-day management and support of Community Integrated Care's Colleague Forum, GameChangers Develop new approaches to promote increased employee voice within the charity
Colleague Engagement & Experience
Support the charity's People Team with projects and initiatives to improve colleague experience Review, enhance and deliver activity around our employer brand Work closely alongside Employee Relations team to manage responses to external colleague reviews (e.g. Indeed, Glassdoor) Assess the impact of people practices and policies on employee experience
Reward & Recognition
Ownership, delivery and continuous improvement of Community Integrated Care's reward and recognition schemes (including our long service programme) Support with organisational events and celebrations, e.g. roadshows and awards
EDI & Wellbeing
Close working with our Wellbeing, Diversity and Inclusion Specialist on the development, communication and delivery of EDI and Wellbeing initiatives
General Support & Continuous Improvement
Develop and maintain the KPI dashboard for engagement activity and campaigns Research and assess potential tools, software or partners that may improve colleague experience at Community Integrated Care Act as our charity's subject matter expert on colleague engagement, monitoring the external landscape for new ideas, concepts and innovations Awareness of trends / emerging opportunities Supporting the wider Communications & Marketing Team with other projects as required.
Our Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will be a true people person, with specialist expertise and interest in employee experience. They will own, deliver and continuously improve engagement initiatives at Community Integrated Care, to support attraction, retention and overall employee engagement.
A passion for developing a deep and data-driven understanding our workforce will be crucial, as well as the ability to work with leaders to act on data to drive positive change.
Qualifications:
Professional or higher qualification in relevant field (Desirable) IoIC / CIPR/ CIPD qualification and/or membership (Desirable) Experience:
Colleague engagement experience in a large and complex organisation, with focus on using data and feedback to drive activity within the workplace Experience of planning and managing engagement initiatives from end-to-end Skills / Abilities:
Solid understanding of key elements of colleague engagement Ability to interpret engagement data and understand its influence on the workforce Excellent planner Confident in building and maintaining relationships at all levels - particularly with senior leaders Ability to juggle multiple projects whilst ensuring high quality control is maintained Resilience and the ability to work flexibly and under pressure Meticulous attention to detail Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentations Strong skills in standard packages such as Microsoft Office Interested and want to know a bit more?
