Australian made Cole Clark Fat Lady 1 with Fishman Blackstack pickup.
All Australian solid woods — Bunya Top with Queensland maple back & sides all with a very light nitro finish.
Good/ used condition, Used as a working guitar so some honest playwear, nothing nasty — a bit of shine / light marks were the pickguard should be... and a couple of decent dinks on the back of the headstock (pictured), some wear/darkering on the fingerboard. Action set up quite low without buzz, lovely neck and and great balanced sound. Not as loud a s a Martin dread but with a natural compression that records well and is not overpowering when singing. I have played quite a few shows with this guitar and it sounds fantastic at volume through the PA.
The guitar is fitted with a Fishman Blackstack pickup, which is the best sounding sound hole pickup in my opinion — very like the Sunrise but a little more balanced to my ears. Comes with a thick/good quality Cole Clark branded bag. I do not have the black pickguard that was originally in the case, but looks better without imo.
Cole Clarks are played on the world stage by the likes of Jack Johnson, James Dean Bradfield, Ben Harper, Pete Murray, Lloyd Spiegel, Snow Patrol...
