CNC Lathe Operator

Rotherham, Doncaster

Three-week shift pattern; mornings and afternoons, Mon-Fri 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm and nights, Sun-Thurs 10pm-6am.

GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 DOE

We are looking for motivated CNC Lathe Operator to join a well established distribution company. Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of CNC Machining/Operating within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming Team. The position will appeal to a strong CNC Machinist looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings including tolerances (essential)Experience of using micrometres and workshop measuring equipment (essential)Knowledge of tooling and CNC milling experience are preferable and beneficial, but a proven ability to learn and enthusiasm for the role would be very much consideredManual toolroom machining skillsIT competency expectedresponsible for ensuring a variety of production tooling is maintained and ready for use. You will also be involved in the manufacture of jigs, fixtures, and gauges to engineering drawings. Skills and Qualifications
