Our prestigious client based in Romford are a leader in delivering manufacturing excellence within the global aerospace market. They are currently looking to recruit two highly skilled CNC Milling Machinists who can both set and operate the machines.

The role:
To manufacture Aerospace components, following specific guidelines given by the Cell LeaderAdhere to all Health and Safety legislation, Company policies and procedures.You will be responsible for the quality of work undertaken and for reporting non-conformities as and when they occur.Demonstrate a flexible approach and willingness to work within various areas of the shop floor.
Key deliverables:
To perform the following tasks prior to commencing operation:
Check drawing number and issue is correct to work orderCheck that any referenced specifications, data sheets or instructions are available to youCheck materials and parts are correctly identified, GRN's recorded on W/O parts listEnsure all previous operations are correctly endorsed and stamped to verify conformity and report any deviations from the above checks to the Cell Leader
To perform the following tasks during manufacture:
Work to Engineering drawings, and in house setup sheetsEnsure first off inspection is carried out, and the route card is endorsed, to show qualification at each applicable operationCheck that all products within the batch conform to the operational requirement and segregate any non-conforming products, reporting any non-conformance to the Cell Leader
To perform the following tasks upon completion of the operation:
Record your name and the quantity of parts produced on the route cardEnsure that an inspection stamp holder records the quantity of both, parts accepted and non-conforming, then stamp and date the operation, segregating any non-conforming products and reporting it to your supervisorRequirements:
Be able to program, set and operate, our clients Matsuura (MAM72-52, MAM72-42, MAM72-35), Mori Seki (NH4000 & 5000 DCG Horizontal Pallet) or HAAS machine tools (MiniMill, VF1, VF2, VF3)Aerospace background preferred however not essential. (Tight Limit Components)
