A global manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to set and operate at their modern manufacturing site in Nottingham on a rotating morning and afternoon shift. You will be responsible for operating and setting a CNC Milling machine using Mazatrol controls.

Mornings = Mon to Thurs 6am to 2pm and Fri 6am - 1pm (1st week) then

Afternoons = Mon to Thurs 2pm to 10pm and Fri 1pm to 8pm (2nd week) Key responsibilities of CNC Miller Setter / Operator:

Set and operate CNC Milling machine within your Cell.Adjust controls via Mazatrol and tool settings to keep part dimensions within specified tolerancesWork from CAD designs and specifications to complete various machining operations using information such as dimensions, tolerances, quantities and any special instructionsCreate, set and document work holding process Select correct toolingDesign and manufacture fixtures Responsible for own quality using CMM and shadowgraph machinesParticipate in Lean / Six Sigma activities and other process improvement activities as required CNC Miller Setter / Operator Knowledge and Skills Required:

Ability to use measuring equipment and interpret drawingsWorking knowledge of CNC milling machines and ability to set up tooling on the machinesExperienced with 4 or 5 axis twin pallet milling machines (ideally Mazak)Ability to use simple gauges or instrumentsWorking knowledge of maths in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work well in a team environmentExperience of working with Mazatrol controlled CNC machineryIdeally have ISO programming knowledge If you have the required skills and qualifications for the CNC Miller Setter / Operator role and would relish an exciting challenge, please contact Stuart Cooper directly to discuss the position in further details.
