We are currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist - Milling to join a growing national business with global capacity producing high end and high grade applications parts for a range of industries including Oil & Gas and Upstream to name a few.

Set-up and operate CNC machines.Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.Self-inspection of their own work.Preventative & General maintenance checks.Ensure all HSE legislations are adhered to at all timesCompetencies
Read and understand engineering drawings.Ability to set and operate CNC machines - Mill turnAbility to edit and prove out CNC programs.Ability to use a range of measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers etc.)Sound knowledge of geometrical tolerances.Good attention to detail.Strong team player with a can do attitude.Must be self-motivatedAccountabilities & Performance Measures
Produce components to the correct standards within a timely and efficient manner.Maintain a high level of housekeeping and follow the 5S program.Excellent timekeeping and attendance.Qualifications
Previous experience within the oil and gas industry is preferred but not essential.Minimum 5 years' experience operating CNC machines.Must have an Engineering Apprenticeship or similar.Fanuc or Mazatrol are advantageous.
