This is an exciting opportunity to join Scotland's only purpose built neurological care centre as the Clinical Team Leader for the Night Shift. You will be managing a team of registered nurses and care assistants, offering high standards of holistic care to service users

Location: Aberdeen

Salary: 38002 - 42620 with 30% enhancement for nights/weekends

Hours: 36.25 week comprising of 3 shifts - 7pm - 7.15am

The qualitities for the Clinical Team Leader role:

Registered Nurse or degree level qualification, possible further study.

Experience in specialist palliative or neurological care depending on service requirement. Committed to service user involvement.

Demonstrable experience of practising in a self-directed and highly motivated way

An ability to provide teaching and mentorship in a clinical setting

Able to effectively manage change and manage performance

The role and responsibilities of the Clinical Team Leader role

You will have responsibility to ensure effective performance management of all clinical staff in line with policies and procedures for recruitment, induction, development, supervision, appraisal and discipline.

To lead the nursing team in developing the quality of nursing care, acting as a source of support and advice to colleagues and relatives

To ensure that clinical care is provided in line with multi professional, evidence based care plans, is timely and appropriate and that the client's policies and procedures are adhered to

Take responsibility for a service user group, consulting and liaising with the multi-disciplinary team, service users, family/carers over their care
