Role consists of working between Billingham Grange Hospital in Billingham and Hawthorns Care Centre in Peterlee.
ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Clinical Psychologist at Hawthorns Care Centre in Peterlee and Billingham Grange independent mental health hospital in Billingham, you'll provide a specialist psychology service to help us deliver the all-round quality, treatment, care and support our patients deserve. You will work with patients who have enduring and progressive mental health disorders, acquired brain injury, cognitive impairment and complex behaviour. Whatever their needs we make sure every single patient is treated with respect and dignity. We will rely on you to select, administer and interpret psychometric and neuropsychological tests, as well as delivering evidence based clinical interventions. You will liaise with referrers, GPs and other professionals to develop and review care and risk management plans. As a Clinical Psychologist at Barchester, you'll have the chance create a safe and supportive environment where our patients can get the best possible care.
ABOUT YOUTo join us as a Clinical Psychologist, you will have full registration with HCPC with an up-to-date knowledge on current developments in professional and clinical practice, making you the go-to person for information about relevant legislation and policies. We'll also look for excellent communication skills. You will produce clinical reports, show accurate record keeping and supervise the work of other multi-disciplinary staff when appropriate. As a dedicated and insightful professional all of your work will be focused on our patients' wellbeing.
