A leading Surrey hospital for specialist elective healthcare is now looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to join their pharmacy team in a varied ward-based role.
Fully Good -rated by the CQC, the hospital offers routine and complex interventions across a broad range of specialties for patients from Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex and beyond. Pharmacy services play a crucial role in the surgical process and the management of pain, osteoporosis, urinary issues, and many other health conditions seen at the hospital; in particular, the team is closely integrated with the growing oncology unit to aid provision of effective cancer therapies.
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will treat and counsel patients who require pharmaceutical input as part of their treatment, working closely with the medical and surgical consultants to influence therapy delivery, provide advanced clinical pharmacy services, and implement strategic medicines management initiatives.
This is a full-time (37.5h) position for a Clinical Pharmacist; options are available to join on a permanent basis or on a 1-year fixed-term contact.
