The main responsibilities for this role of Clinical Lead, Paediatrics include:
To provide effective clinical management of your allocated Packages of Care, ensuring Clients receive high-quality standards of complex care within their homes. To provide support to Nurses and HCAs on the packages and work collaboratively within your Area and the wider First Option Healthcare company as required and directed by your line manager. To ensure all package staff have Clinical interviews completed to ascertain level of knowledge, values and safety for the Clients they are caring for. To ensure all staff across your packages of care have relevant knowledge, skill and competency sign offs completed before working alone. To be flexible to the needs of the clients who you provide care to, ensuring that their regular monthly visits are completed and all documentation is kept up to date. To develop and maintain effective and productive relationships with all external medical and clinical agencies including CCGs, CCN, Community Paediatrician, GPs, Consultants, and other healthcare providers. At all times to uphold the code of professional conduct of the NMC. To operate in full compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, internal and external controls at all times, ensuring First Option Healthcare meets its clinical objectives and business targets. Person Specification:
Must be Paediatric trained (RSCN, RNC) Active Registration with NMC Experience within PICU, HDU, NICU or Community Complex Evidence of teaching and leading service change Must have Trachi experience Strong clinical skills and knowledge Willingness to travel Full UK driving license Desirable Nursing Skills Working Hours and Benefits:
