Clinical Lead Nurse- Mental Health/ Learning Disabilities

Location: Upton, Cambridgeshire

Salary: Up to GBP24 per hour

Hours: Full Time

Shifts: Days only

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse (RMN & RNLD) to work within a very welcoming, warm and person-centred specialist care service, supporting those with Learning Disabilities/ Mental Health needs who benefit from a quite setting.

The company manage and run 5 bespoke services and pride themselves on providing specialist and quality care to those with Complex Needs such as, Epilepsy, Autism, Learning Disabilities and Challenging Behaviours. The company have an established programme, to meet the requirements of the National Autistic Society, which focuses which focus' on all areas of support for those living with Autism.

Job Role:

You will be working alongside of like- minded colleagues, to provide person centred care and to support patients achieving a more independent living within a quite and peaceful setting.

As a Clinical Lead, you will work closely with our nurses and carers to maintain the highest standards of clinical care and governance in our homes. Supported by our management team, you will ensure our residents receive the best care, meet their needs through excellent nursing and clinical care, and actively contribute to all clinical delivery.

Do you have ?

A clear NMC PIN as RMN or RNLDStrong clinical skillset and confidence to lead the nursing team.Prior management experience, or experience of leading a small team.Ability to make clinical decisions and remain calm under pressure.A passion for promoting best nursing practice and able to train, support and mentor others.A desire to encourage positive working relationships within the team.Strong verbal and written communication skills.A good working knowledge of audits, safeguarding, DOLS, CQC and compliance.
