GI Group are currently looking for several Climbing Arborists for our client in Bredbury.This is an ongoing position, with the possibility of a permanent contract after 12 weeks. The hours of work are Monday - Friday. The hourly rate is GBP13.69 and starts are available immediately Working hours are 7.00am till 2.54pm Monday to FridayFor this role you will need the relevant experience:-Minimum three years practical arboriculture experienceCompetent in the use of all types of mechanical equipment required for this post which includes chain saws, wood chippers, stump grinders, underground cable detection equipment. Experience of climbing and working at heightsQualifications needed:-First Aid CertificateChapter 8 Road Traffic SigningNPTC Competencies CS 30, 31, 38, 39NPTC Competencies CS 40, 41Knowledge of best practice relating to arboriculture techniquesKnowledge of legislation relating to arboriculture operationsAbility to remain polite and tactful in pressured situationsAbility to work under pressure and to deadlinesAbility to identify tree species, tree associated pathogens, structural defects and hazards
