My client is looking to speak to experienced Clerk of works to take on a full-time 3 6-month temporary role (potentially longer).

Your New Organisation

You will have a fantastic opportunity to work for a housing association in the East midlands for a 3 6-month initial temporary period.

You will have the opportunity to work with a leading provider of social housing and help enable customer satisfaction in relation to compliance and capital work programs.

Your new organisation needs a customer friendly individual to work closely with the internal departments and the tenants of the housing association.

Your New Opportunity

You will be responsible for carrying out inspections for quality and compliance purposes, planned repairs and capital works.

You will provide detailed schedules of work for the housing stock on repairs, compliance, and capital works.

You will be responsible for assisting with procurement for the works and provide accurate costings.

You will be a key point of contact for internal departments in relation to project progress.

You will be based in the East midlands and will require a car to qualify for this role.

You will inspect works and look at variation plan to the works, negotiate and resolve tenant and contractor issues.

You will be an experienced Clerk of works with prior knowledge and experience working in a similar role this role will suit someone with some prior knowledge of this type of role (essential)

In this role you will need:

Extensive experience in the building maintenance area of work vast experience in construction (essential) Face to face customer service and remote experience (email and telephone) Experience working with Contractor and members of the public (essential) Good understanding of H&S and compliance in housing Be financially astute and able to cost and report effectively.
