Shifts

Typically, your working week will be Monday to Friday however working hours are not set due to the nature of the role so flexibility is key. You may be expected to work overtime, weekend and possibly nights out.

Position 1 LGV C+E Driver, Start date ASAP. 48 hour contract.

Position 2 LGV C+E Driver Start date 1st March 2024, (this position may have to cover Nights on Shunting duties start time 20:00 to 06:00, Sunday Night till Thursday Night (position attracts a 33.33%-night rate on top of normal hourly rate from 22:00 to 06:00, this is still a 48 hour Drivers Contract)

Duties

Responsible for all delivery, collection and returns procedures, you will be complying with all relevant legislation and agreed procedures to ensure a safe and legal working environment and consistent quality standardsResponsible for the security of the vehicle & load at all times, reporting vehicle defects and ensure that the defect is documented. Comply with Driver's regulations & Working Time Directive in line with the O License legalisation and Company proceduresEnsure all documentation is completed as per company procedureIn addition to these duties, you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business, where appropriate training is provided Requirements

Category C+E licenceDesirable ADR Class 1-9 including 7x awareness Less 7 but not required.Present Tachograph card for downloading on a weekly basis.Drivers must provide proof of up-to-date CPCCriminal Record Check - Basic DisclosureProof of Right To Work - Passport / Birth Certificate etc.Identity Document - Driving Licence / Passport.3 years referencing - Confirmation of past 3 years employment (minimum) history / activity.Basic numeracy and conversational English language Benefits
