Duties and responsibilities

Reinsurance administration and recoveries including:

Cover note administration including recording of reinsurance into in-house systems, settlement of premium and various reporting requirements Reinsurance recoveries for Excess of loss, proportional and facultative accounts Calculate, issue and monitor reinsurance collection notes as per contract terms and conditions Produce Risk and Claim bordereaux to support reinsurance accounts Comply with departments month/quarter end deadline requirements Respond to reinsurers queries in a timely manner Renewal presentation information Management information Project work assist in the testing and implementation of new software or processes Review and update procedure manuals in an accurate and timely manner Manage the relationships with Customers, Agents and Service Providers:

Advise, assist and service customers on insurance and risk matters to promote customer satisfaction; Foster positive relationships with Customers and attain an understanding of their needs; Ensure that Customer Complaints are promptly identified, recorded and referred as appropriate; and, Ensure that the principles of Treating Customers Fairly are upheld by Agents and Service Providers Reinsurance Technician Key requirements

Previous reinsurance experience Experience with a Lloyd's syndicate would be desirable Excel, intermediate Word, intermediate These positions offer a competitive salary package, excellent working environment and opportunities.
