LARGE LOSS CLAIMS HANDLER Remote/Hybrid

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Large Loss Claims Handler to manage a portfolio of Large Loss claims. As a Large Loss Claims Handler, you will proactively manage a caseload of technically complex and/or high value claims, including fatalities, spinal cord and brain injury claims. You will also provide technical support and guidance to less experienced claims handlers and handle technical referrals where required.

Working hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday 9.00-17.30

Salary: Negotiable, dependant on experience

What you will be doing:

Proactive management approach to handle a complex allocation of files, maintaining strong diary management.Ensuring your portfolio is realistically and accurately reserved in line with best practice and the earliest opportunity and referring those highlighted as exceeding authority. Understand when to utilise external suppliers to ensure the best outcome for the business with minimal claims spend.Maintain own technical knowledge through training.Directly reporting to the PI Claims Manager. What we're looking for:

Proven capability of claims negotiation in Large Loss Claims.At least 3-5 years' experience in handling Large Loss Claims in the Motor Insurance Industry.Strong, decisive, and confident communicatorSelf-motivated individual who can also mentor less experienced members of the team.Driven and enthusiastic - meets or exceeds targets.Accurate with a high level of attention to detail. Working hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday 9.00-17.30
