As a Claims Handler, you will:

Accurately record and analyse information to validate and proceed with claims.Negotiate, settle, and/or repudiate claims within delegated limits of authority, referring complex cases to underwriters with recommendations.Adhere to agreed procedures and protocols under Delegated Authority Schemes.Maintain client/departmental emails and manage diary systems through effective written and oral communications.Service calls, maintain professional relationships with loss adjusters, insurers, and other claims professionals.Keep abreast of industry news and developments to ensure current technical knowledge. The ideal candidate should possess:

Excellent written and spoken English and strong mathematical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and the ability to adapt to new systems.Drive, self–determination, and problem–solving skills.Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.Experience in the property sector (especially private rented sector) is beneficial, along with a basic understanding of the insurance or financial services industry.
