This lovely vintage decanter was made by the renowned Spode factory thus is British porcelain. Not to be confused with a similar coarser pottery version by Wade. It was made for Chivas Bros and contained their "Royal Salute" scotch whisky.

This particular piece is a 700ml/75cl model in green (seems to be less common than the brown and blue equivalents). It stands 8.5 inches high. Sadly, it no longer has a stopper or stickers. It does have the makers mark/stamp on the base.

It would look great on any mantlepiece or display unit in any type of home. It would be a welcome addition to any collection of brewery items or bottles. It could be used to accommodate a candle during the approaching festive season or could even be converted into a lamp base.

Similar examples can be seen for sale at between £10 for brown up to £20 for blue or green.

It is in immaculate pre-owned condition. From a smoke free house. Buyer must collect from Chepstow, Monmouthshire or Brixham or Totnes, Devon at an agreed time. Alternatively, I am happy to package and post for the associated costs. Needs to go asap.
