A Cambridgeshire based organisation that provides support and accommodation to vulnerable young people aged 10-18. Specialising in helping unaccompanied asylum seekers, looked after children and children with social, emotional and complex needs.

Your new role

Our client cares for children in residential and semi-independent supported accommodation. Assisting all residents to live a positive and meaningful life as they grow towards adulthood.

This role involves: making sure all the needs of the young people are met and that they are safeguarded from harm, abuse, exploitation and neglect.

You will respond to any child care concerns,

Work as a team with other staff, social workers, parents/guardians and other connected professional agencies.

What you'll need to succeed

Full UK Driving licence

Level 3 NVQ in Social Care Children and Young People or be willing to work towards this qualification

Be able to work regular sleep ins

Be organised

The ability to communicate with children and young people

Previous experience working in Social Care
