Children's Support Worker Position Due to an increase in demand, Support Workers are now required to provide care to young females aged between 12 and 17 in children's homes who may have experienced sexual trauma and/or exploitation.
As a support worker, you would encourage the children through their therapy and education programmes and also provide assistance with any activities and hobbies!

The homes are a safe and secure setting where support workers and staff must understand the importance of the children's needs and any associated behaviours that could challenge.
The typical placement in the home is a minimum of 12 months. This enables the children to have thorough recovery, therapy and plans for the future.

The shift patterns would be 2 days of 4 days off with a paid sleep in.
