Founded in 2011, Kaleidoscope Trust works to uphold the human rights of lesbian, gay,bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI+) people in countries around the world where they are discriminated against or marginalised due to their sexual orientation, gender identity and/or gender expression.
We are at a hugely exciting inflection point, as we seek a new Chief Executive Officer(CEO) who will maintain our momentum. You will lead a dedicated team who come from a wide range of backgrounds and with vast and varied interests and specialities, leading on specific departments servicing Policy and Public Affairs, Fundraising and Communications, Programmes, The Commonwealth Equality Network (TCEN) Secretariat, as well as our Operations, Finance and Compliance team.
The next five years will have our new CEO driving efforts to diversify and strengthen sustainable income streams, with a specific focus on boosting unrestricted funds for 2024 and beyond. As our key advocate and spokesperson, you will lead the charge in ensuring we continue to position the organisation as the UK's leading authoritative,legitimate voice on LGBTI+ equality internationally by increasing its presence in the public sphere. Crucially, you will build broader partnerships with our various stakeholders and expand our diplomatic and institutional relationships. Additionally, you will explore and make recommendations around the expansion of the charity's geographic footprint to include countries outside of the Commonwealth.
