Chemistry Lab Technician

Hours: 37.5 hours Mon - Fri (flexible working hours)
Salary: GBP26-29k
You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, as part of a team of experienced engineers and scientists to develop world leading products that can help chemists discover great things.
This exciting and diverse role involves helping develop our clients range of market leading chemistry equipment through careful and thorough testing. You will be working in the R&D team and reporting to the R&D Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Establishing and carrying out testing of chemistry lab equipment Assisting in the construction and testing of components, assemblies, jigs, etc. Planning safe and controlled experimental protocols Collecting, analysing, and reporting data in a clear and structured way Ensuring lab and testing areas are kept clean and tidy Any other activities that support the R&D Team Helping other departments as and when required About you
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
A degree in chemical engineering, applied chemistry, or similar Testing and / or experimental experience Fully IT literate with standard Microsoft Office packages (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Other useful experience might include:
Working in the scientific instrument sector Working knowledge of scientific software And have the following qualities:
