Our main specialty is Modern European cuisine with African fusion. The ideal candidate should demonstrate experience in both these areas, and creatively show how they can develop new ideas dishes in this area.
Responsibilities:
As the Chef Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and maintaining high standards. Your responsibilities will include:
Menu Development: Bring innovation to our offerings by developing new menu options, considering customer preferences and current culinary in African European fusion.
Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes to a consistently high standard, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
Supply Management: Taking care of ordering ingredients and kitchen supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels while maintaining cost efficiency.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming orders for both quality and quantity, ensuring that all food meets our standards before it leaves the kitchen.
Team Management: Eventually supervise and manage the assistant chefs as the we expand, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a cohesive and efficient kitchen team.
Compliance: Uphold and enforce all Food Standards Agency (FSA) standards on-premise, ensuring a safe and hygienic working environment.
