Brunch/Restaurant **Opening Feb/March 2024** You have the unique opportunity to put your own stamp on a brand new restaurant/ bistro concept. Help set up the kitchen, design the menu and launch the site. Help define the food and get involved with the development of the business. Duties: - Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards - Oversee and manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating - Collaborate with the restaurant owners and other staff to create new menu items and specials - Ensure food is prepared and presented in a timely manner - Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen - Train and supervise staff - Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines Requirements: - Proven experience as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen setting - Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred - Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality - Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required If you are passionate about good food and eager to stamp your own ideas into a business then we would love to hear from you.
