Akton are recruiting on behalf of a client who have an excellent opportunity for a Chartered/Senior Building Surveyor to become part of the growing building surveying team in the Birmingham office working on a wide and varied range of building surveying disciplines in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

Primarily working within the commercial sector undertaking a wide range of building surveying, but not limited to:

Contract administrationTechnical Due DiligenceDilapidationsBuilding PathologyGeneral building surveying commercial work in line with a Chartered Building Surveyor roleRequirements

Degree in Building Surveying & MRICSExcellent and accurate report writing skillsExperience of working in a pro-active commercial environmentSound knowledge of building contracts in a commercial contextAble to meet fee targets and generate new business through building successful client relationshipsCommercially astuteEmbraces technologyHigh level of up-to-date technical building knowledgePackage
