My story

　　Champ is a delightful boy who loves rescue life! He came into rescue after being surrendered by a breeder. He was born with a birth defect, the foot on his right front leg is deformed like his foot developed with a split in the middle.

　　He is able to use it, especially when running.

　　He sometimes hops or uses it for balance. He is a happy and playful dog. He would do best in a home without any small children due to his playful attitude.

　　He might easily knock them over.

　　Beardies do not shed but he needs regular grooming so that needs to be accounted for with budgeting.

　　He is not trained to walk on a leash or to any commands. He will require a home with a fenced yard so he can romp & play freely. Champ is very snuggly and loves to be petted. He is an all-around very sweet boy. Barely barks unless he is trying to play. He doesn't really like to be on the bed, but he loves the couch. He would love a home with another dog to play with. He does like toys but won't play fetch (retrieving is not in his nature).

　　Requirements to adopt Champ:

　　*Home ownership with fenced yard

　　*Another playful dog as a companion

　　*Pet ownership history with excellent veterinary reference

　　*Regular grooming required

　　Champ is a male Bearded Collie. He was born 2-2-22 and weighs 41 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $600 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
