Cerebra is an inspiring charity focusing on working wonders for children with brain conditions. It is focused on commissioning high quality research whilst also providing a variety of services to affected families (such as sleep services and health, social care, financial and legal support). Cerebra have also now started to design and build innovative, bespoke products that give children a whole new lease of life.

As the retirement of both the current Chair and CEO are imminent, the charity needs to identify an outstanding Chair to lead Cerebra, head up the recruitment drive for a new CEO and work with Trustees and the management team to take forward the recommendations of a recent strategic review. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic new Chair to shape the future of this inspiring charity.

Candidates will be experienced executives who relish the opportunity to Chair this charity which is making such a difference to children with brain conditions and their families. Your Boardroom and strategic skills are a given, but you must also have empathetic people skills to operate at all levels within the charity and be a strong team player. Additionally, you must have outstanding communication skills and the ability to be a public ambassador for Cerebra.
