A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a Category Manager at a fast-growing and well-established organisation based in Bath.
As a Category Manager, you will enjoy working with your stakeholders to identify the best way to deliver value. You will work with the business to influence spend, understand the market and supply base for your categories and develop innovative sourcing opportunities.
Working at a senior level you will ensure that all procurement activity within your construction works and related services area adheres to the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016 and that the framework agreements you will tender, implement and manage are designed to deliver best value to the company.
What you'll need to succeed
Strong Procurement Category experience in construction works and related servicesFamiliar with NEC ContractsUnderstanding and experience of the Public Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016 (or similar)First-hand experience of leading tenders in accordance with procurement regulationsFramework agreement management experienceExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsThe ability to operate both independently taking ownership of responsibilities and tasks, as well as working collaboratively as part of a teamStrong commercial and negotiation skills, including resolving contractual qualifications to conditions of contractMCIPS or equivalentKnowledge of eSourcing Systems COMPANY BENEFITS
