Antique cast iron fireback, dated 1635 (Charles I period). Probable 19th century cast from older example as detail not as sharp as some. Royal Coat of arms with CR monogram. Good condition, very heavy, some pitting on back as expected but very solid. Suit inglenook or large fireplace.
