Cash & Treasury Assistant required to join an NHS organisation based in Greater Manchester. My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced Cash & Treasury Assistant to join their dynamic and growing team on a full-time, fixed term basis.
As the Cash & Treasury Assistant you will provide central cash management and treasury support to the business, alongside the various duties below:
Key responsibilities of the Cash & Treasury Assistant
Accurate and timely allocation of customer cash.Consulting with credit controllers daily to cover dedicated accountsEnsure all necessary documentation and/or system entries are completed accurately, and information is well documented.Maintain an accurate record of all activity and ensure that all documents are properly filed electronically and easily retrievable for reference.Assist with resolving unallocated cash queries internally.Ensure adequate controls and procedures are being adheredPrepare ad-hoc reporting as required, including MI analysis and reporting.Consult with Accounts Payable, Credit Control, and banks to ensure timely resolution of treasury related queries.Assist Treasury Manager, Treasury Team Lead and Treasury Cashiers with any ad-hoc tasks as requiredRequired skills and experience of the Cash & Treasury Assistant
AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualified or QBE (desirable)Ability to confidently deal with people at all levels across an organisationAwareness of financial controls and governanceStrong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, NAV, Oracle and HorizonExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational and analytical skillsDemonstrates initiative whilst able to take direction
