Within our Older Adults Community Teams, we're investing in creating the right conditions to ensure our Case Workers can work flexibly and are given the capacity to provide the excellent level of support and attention needed, to make a real difference to the lives of the people in our community. We believe our staff deserve to feel fulfilled professionally and enjoy a good balance between work and home life.
Strengths-based practice focuses on people's resourcefulness, strengths and abilities to enable them to develop the best strategies to face life's challenges and live independently and safely in the community. Supported by more experienced colleagues and qualified social/health care professionals, you'll adopt this approach to assess an individual's needs and provide them with support and guidance to maximise their wellbeing. Using your effective relationship management and negotiation skills, you'll collaborate with service users, their families, providers and other health care professionals.
Joining us as a Case Worker can lead to a fantastic career in Adults' Health and Care. Our experienced Case Workers can be considered for our social work apprenticeship scheme, which is currently run by the University of Winchester leading to a career as a Qualified Social Worker.
We understand the demands and emotional challenges of the job and provide our teams with a safe and supportive working environment, offering regular supervision, mentoring and Continuous Professional Development opportunities, alongside a competitive Benefits Package.
