Senior Case Handler.
Your role as the senior case handler will be to administer all aspects of the estate administration for the more complex cases.
Your duties and responsibilities include collecting all the date of death of figures to assist with the probate application. You will be required to track this process and chase where needed. Once the grant has been issued you will assist in closing all accounts down and calling all funds into the estate.
Once the accounts have been closed you will pass the file across to our inhouse accounts team who will complete the rest of the estate administration.
You will work alongside other case handlers but report to the probate manager.
In the probation period you will be expected to use your existing skills to learn the role so once probation has been passed you will take the senior role.
Your responsibilities broken down but not limited to are:
Gather all associated information for the probate application. Chase up all outstanding organisations Close all accounts down. Liaise with third parties such as estate agents and conveyancers. Ensure payments have been made to beneficiaries. Close the file Skills Required
Full training will be provided but you need to well-organised, friendly, polite, and have vast administration experience. You will have the ability to deal with a variety of clients. You must be self-motivated with excellent computer skills and have polished communication skills. You must be able to work under pressure.
Salary and Working Hours
The hours are Monday- Friday 9am to 5pm.
The starting salary will be 25,000 and will adjusted once you have passed probation and take the senior role.
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
