I require a caring person, someone with a driving licence and a car. My husband has dementia and so his care needs vary from day to day. He needs supervision in the shower, breakfast and dinner prepared, give him his medication and take him for short walks and some meals

As previously said the work entails personal care for my husband, small amount of ironing weekly, keeping his room clean and tidy, changing his bedding weekly or more if required. , sometimes taking him to appointments and outings in your vehicle. The working hours would be 09.00 hours - 14.00 hours Monday to Friday and 3 hours per week flexible. These would be early evening so preparation of tea would be necessary,

If you are someone who could sit and engage with my husband but know when he is not really up to taking, if you have a caring nature but no care qualifications I will still consider your application.

If you get the job you will need to become a PVG Scheme Member which we will pay for.
