Job Description for Care Team Leader Nights

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Team Leader Nights to join our team in Skegness, Lincolnshire. This is a permanent position, and the successful candidate will be expected to work full-time hours.

Job Duties for Care Team Leader Nights:

Supervise and lead a team of care workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care services.Develop and maintain care plans for individuals, ensuring they meet their specific needs and preferences.Conduct regular assessments and reviews to monitor the effectiveness of care plans and make any necessary adjustments.Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including health and safety standards.Assist in the recruitment and training of new care staff, providing ongoing coaching and mentoring to enhance their skills and knowledge.Act as a point of contact for clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals, addressing any concerns or queries promptly and professionally.Manage and allocate resources efficiently, including staff scheduling.

Required Qualifications for Care Team Leader Nights:

Minimum Level 3 Diploma in -Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.Ability to administer medication is essential.Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the healthcare sector.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, their families, and colleagues.Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.Proficiency in using computer systems and software relevant to care management.

Preferred Qualifications for Care Team Leader Nights:

Experience of working with Dementia Residents is useful.Experience working in a Care Home or similar residential setting.

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills for Care Team Leader Nights :

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a care role, preferably within a social services context.Sound knowledge of relevant CQC regulations, and best practises in social care.Understanding of person-centred care principles and their practical application.Ability to lead and motivate a team, promoting a positive and inclusive working environment.Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.Empathy, compassion, and respect for individuals with diverse care needs.

Working Conditions for Care Team Leader Nights:

The Care Team Leader Nights will primarily work in a Care Home. The role involves regular interaction with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals. The working hours may vary, including alternate weekends and public holidays, to ensure adequate care coverage.
