Your new companyNational Public Services provider based in Devizes, WiltshireYour new roleAs the Statutory Capital Accountant, you will be responsible for all the statutory requirements for the Business and Senior Management Team. This includes the statement of accounts, interpretation of and advising on legislation changes and ensuring compliance there of. This role also has liaison with the Audit Committee and reporting lines into, as well as undertaking representation at end of year audit processes.Oversight of the strategic reporting of capital.Statutory returns to include, but not exclusively, COR.Ensuring all related policies are up–to–date.Oversee a comprehensive Capital Accounting Function.What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this role, candidates will need to be fully qualified or within the last throws of actively pursuing qualification at ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA level (or equivalent).Experience of working within a Government/Treasury funded finance environment (Public Sector)Exposure to previous line management responsibilityWhat you'll get in returnThe successful candidate wil be remunerated with a starting salary of GBP46,000pa, generous annual leave entitlement and excellent pension scheme.Hybrid working opportunity, flexible hours and extensive development opportunities – including support to complete qualification studies if required.
