Position Overview:
As a CAMHS Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment, formulation, and delivery of therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents experiencing mental health difficulties. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to provide holistic and person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the unique needs of clients and formulate appropriate treatment plans.Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including CBT, DBT, and family therapy, tailored to each client's needs.Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment for clients in acute distress.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to care.Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with regulatory standards.Requirements:
Qualified Mental Health Nurse, Clinical Psychologist, or other relevant professional qualification.Registration with relevant regulatory body (e.g., NMC, HCPC).Demonstrated experience working within CAMHS settings.Strong understanding of evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
