Job Title: Buyer
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 + CIPS Study Support
The Procurement Division at SF Recruitment are currently looking for a dynamic, ambitious and experienced Buyer to join their FMCG business based in the South of Leicestershire. This role will report directly into the Procurement Manager and be a critical part of the procurement teams success.
As a Buyer, your daily responsibilities will include the below:
- Raising and processing online purchase orders.
- Run purchasing reports to determine stock shortfalls and in demand products.
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing supplier communication.
- Source suppliers and products and negotiates pricing to achieve best value and quality.
- Setting up new materials and suppliers as applicable.
- Preparing quotations.
- Carry out regular market analysis to understand missing opportunities in the markets and new product launches, as well as being competitive with promotional activities.
- Ensure you follow and remain updated with procurement policies and procedures and company guidelines.
The successful Buyer will need to currently be working in a similar Buying role and be looking to join a market leading FMCG business that offers continuous development and progressive opportunities.
What is essential is that you have:
- Excellent communication both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy.
- Understanding of reporting on sales performance and stock management.
- Experience sourcing new suppliers and products.
- Analytical and strategic approach.
