Spitfire Staffing is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our well established and successful clients in the UK.

Due to further success and an upturn in business, they are looking for reliable and hard-working candidates to join the team.

The Role:

Due to unprecedented growth of sales, we are seeking an experienced Business Manager to join our busy commercial team. Working across the UK, Ireland and possible European travel, you will be involved with the pre and post sales activity, project manage the implementation of the business and be responsible for the configuration of customer systems, end user training and on-going customer business management in a consultative role. The ideal candidate must be self-driven and motivated with a customer focus, be able to travel and dependent on your location the role involves being away overnight during the week as customer location determines. You must have a high level of attention to detail and be a lateral thinker with a process driven approach. You will have experience in the sales process, customer service and account management, project management of software solutions, particularly those that have served in B2B, financial, and management information systems. Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly the print industry, would be a distinct advantage. However, training will be given. You must be able to effectively communicate at all levels within an organisation as project implementations tend to involve many people within the customers hierarchy. The successful candidate will report directly to the UK Sales Director and will be part of a growing and highly successful organisation that is well-known and highly regarded in the industry. Details:

Permanent Hybrid (Home & Customer based) 0900 to 1730 (some travel will be required outside of these hours Salary commensurate with experience + company car + commission Requirements:

3+ years' of relevant work experience in sales and project delivery General business skills including working as an individual or as part of a team Requires reasoning ability and good independent judgement Knowledge of SQL databases preferred but not essential. Implementation of systems and training of customers High level Microsoft excel skills. Good communication skills Self-reliance and ability to schedule and attend diary commitments, including trade shows or events booked by the company. Low level programming knowledge preferred but not essential. Good understanding of the sales process and cycle as well as delivery and implementation processes Organised, Self-motivated Able to create and deliver project scope of works internally and to customers. Full UK Driving licence Valid Passport -Must be able to travel abroad if required Print and Manufacturing Industry knowledge preferred.
