About the Business Support Assistant Role
The role is day to day, working alongside the existing business support team in the delivery of their work, flexing with the needs of the job and prioritising your workload accordingly. A good telephone manner and working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required, as is the ability to uphold standards whilst multi-tasking.
Duties will include:
• Answering incoming phone calls, and passing on messages to the appropriate team member
• Setting up projects on our CRM system
• Assisting the administration team with organising meetings and co-ordinating diaries
• Preparing and sending invoices
• Updating and amending documents
• Assisting with the arrangement of marketing events
• Drafting letters and emails
• Assisting in collating project data
• Assist with client meetings
Requirements of the Business Support Assistant
Berrys is very much a client-facing business, so we are looking for somebody who enjoys helping others and who understands and acts swiftly on instructions.
Specific requirements are:
• Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail
• Good written English and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Patient and calming manner, whether helping colleagues or clients
• Ability to work flexibly and in a professional way
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, to be worked flexibly Monday-Friday.
