We are looking for a Business Operations Specialist to work in the newly developed IPD (Infrastructure Project Delivery) Business Operations team. You will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of operational and tactical business capabilities, and for providing the associated governance. Your focus will be on facilitating the effective resilience of either people, process, and/or plant, to enable delivery of the current and future Programme requirements. This role offers a great opportunity to support our large scale project portfolio as we embark on an exciting new generation of work at AWE.
Location: We are located in Berkshire - between Reading, Basingstoke, and Newbury. This role is suitable for hybrid working.
Salary: Starting at 35,810 - 45,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience).

Key Accountabilities:
Support the effective communication, and engagement approach to support the Business Unit, in accordance with corporate strategies and business objectives.Support to the implementation of change management initiatives and identifying/seeking continuous improvement within the Business Area.Support the enduring delivery, measurement and monitoring of business operations, capabilities, and services to ensure maturity and improvements are achieved.Support the development and implementation of plans to enable the delivery of business operations initiatives.Support the delivery of assigned projects in accordance with requirements, operational constraints, time, cost, and quality.Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality and be a great team player.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the management of business operations, capabilities, and services (people, plant, process and cost).Support the planning of tasks/projects and the subsequent delivery to time, cost and quality.Support the management of stakeholder relationships both within the business unit and wider enterprise.Support day to day business operations, improvements, and changes in line with the business operations strategy.Produces reporting outputs and provides analysis to track progress and performance across business operations, capabilities, and services (people, plant, process).Deliver support to the wider programme with a focus on business operations or people capability.Maintain a current level of knowledge of industry best practice and advancements, whilst championing innovation and new ways of working.
This job role is suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal, non-contractual and voluntary arrangement, blending a balance of attendance in the workplace (your permanent duty station) and working from home as a personal choice.
