About the role
As a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant, you pride yourself in creating the best reports, dashboards and visualisations for your customers. This role will give you the opportunity to really help customers understand and interpret their HR & Payroll data as well as provide insights around any ongoing trends. This is a vital role within the business and has a big impact on customer success.
Our customers use a variety of Business Intelligence technologies, including our integrated reporting tools with Microsoft Power BI, as well as IBM Cognos Analytics and SAP Business Objects. You'll work as a chargeable consultant, using your industry experience to deliver best practice advice on HR/Payroll analytics and translate requirements into insightful solutions.
You re the type of person who has an eye for detail and can simplify complex ideas/data so that stakeholders of all levels are able to understand it. You re always looking to go the extra mile to provide exceptional service to our customers and are constantly looking at ways to improve the service we're offering.
This is a fully remote role, but with travel to Zellis and customer offices as required.
Key responsibilities include:
Working on the full BI life cycle of a project. Conducting initial discovery sessions and detailed scoping workshops. Writing specifications and building complex SQL queries for reports. Designing sophisticated dashboards/visualisations. Unit testing and handover.
Skills & experience
Do you offer:
A strong track record in customer facing BI consultancy/reporting roles? Experience at building complex SQL queries against either Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle? Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Power BI? Ability to build data models for reporting and predictive analytics, create complex visualisations/dashboards, crosstabs, drill through reports, OLAP cubes and event driven notifications?
