The BDM (Business Development Manager) Role
This is a new exciting BDM (Business Development Manager) opportunity to work alongside their existing and ambitious team, as you will develop the secuity side of the business on a National basis.
The role will include the effective management of all aspects of the security sales of the business. You will be responsible for generating sales, customer services as well as helping steer the direction the business will take. You will need to be a strong communicator and people person as this role requires excellent networking skills and a credible sales style. Their clients expect a consultative approach to understanding and solving their security issues.
A business development security background is essential and a proven track record in sales must be demonstrated.

Key Responsibilities
The BDM (Business Development Manager) will develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve the companies security product and services sales targets. This role will be hybrid, and you will deal with clients on a national basis and have support from their Birmingham office. Identifying and understanding key influencers, decision makers and structures within client and prospect organisations whilst cultivating and managing a strong sales pipeline and nurturing existing client relationships. Gain a strong, ongoing understanding of market trends, industry developments and competitor activity Prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts, negotiating terms and pricing to close deals. Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, tracking sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends. Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand the companies network and identify new business opportunities. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of security technologies, trends, and best practices, and recommend appropriate security solutions to enhance the companies security posture. Prepare and present sales reports, metrics, and recommendations to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making. Experience:
