Business Development Manager Role:
Identify and maximise sales opportunities through cold calling and other new account generation techniquesResearch customers with Automated Warehouse System Integrators, Racking Manufacturers, Distributors of storage equipment, Retail and Distribution companies with plans to implement state of the art logistic and systems/automated warehousesDevise and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to promote products and solutions. Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favourable terms for both parties. Draft and manage contracts to secure long-term business relationships.Closing sales and supporting the customer through the whole sales cycle Provide technical advice to customers including suitability of solutions, timescales, and ramifications for bespoke solutions and new tooling and manufacturing processes involved.Attend seminars, conferences and trade shows in order to networkAttend monthly sales meetings in head office. Skills & Experience required :
Proven Sales Experience: Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in business development, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the reusable packaging industry, particularly plastic pallets, is highly desirable.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and persuasive manner.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a focus on creating mutually beneficial agreements.
Self-motivated: Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for business growth.
