Description

Location - Cannock, Staffordshire or Kings Cross, London (expectations to travel to Veolia offices and sites when necessary)

Salary - 50,000 Per Annum + Veolia Benefits (Car Allowance + Significant Bonus & Generous Pension Scheme)

Hours - 40 hours per week

What you'll be doing:

Working within the Industrial, Water, Energy and IFM business unit, the Business Development Manager will make a key contribution to new business growth through active lead generation and the creation of compelling value propositions that truly set us apart from our competition.

Generate a strong new business pipeline within our IWE business - targeting companies within the allocated sector(s) creating an opportunity to provide Decarbonisation, Depollution and Resource Regeneration services.

Position Veolia as the provider of choice with key national targets by creating differentiated and competitive value propositions.

Prepare proposals and tender documents for new business sales opportunities ensuring that each proposal highlights an understanding of the customer needs whilst delivering a compelling reason for change.

Produce and deliver engaging presentations and manage the full sales process to conclusion.

Proactively network and build relationships with external groups within key growth markets

Have a broad understanding of the key offers across the market(s) and actively promote internally and externally to generate leads and opportunities.

Salesforce is our CRM system of choice and you will be expected to maximise on its functionality to manage interactions with existing and new customers in order to retain, expand and secure new business.

Proven track record in waste management

Multi site solutions

Tendering with large organisations

Engagement with multiple internal/external stakeholders

Tendering with major organisations
