Business Development Manager -Alternative Fuel Sector

Field/Site Based, company is based in the East Midlands area, role will involve extensive European Travel (Circa 50%)

55-70K, plus bonus up to 45% plus car and phone allowance plus benefits

Are you an experienced Sales or Business Development Manager, from a engineering/manufacturing/alternative fuel background, looking for a senior, prestigious position in the companies fastest growing sector?

The role is with a well established, global manufacturer and will focus on the fast growing alternative fuel sector (hydrogen and Compressed natural gas).

The position will report into the office in the East Midlands, but about 50% of the time will be spent meeting clients on the European mainland, so it requires extensive travel and time away from home.

This is a key role in the business as they have recently launched new products and this division is the main driver of growth, so it will be an interesting, evolving role where you will play a key role in success of the business. With bonus and car allowance the package can be in excess of 100K.

The Role

Full time, permanent B2B Business Development role covering UK and Europe involving extensive European travel. Growing the alternative fuel sector of the business.Senior level role so will include working autonomously, setting BDM strategy and identifying areas of future growth for the sector

The Person

Academic/working background in engineering/manufacturingExperience in a senior Business Development or sales related position. Knowledge of the alternative fuel or related market would be preferredBased in the East Midlands area and willing to travel and stay away in Europe.
